The REGARD 7000 Relay Module 24 V DC has 8 potential-free switching contacts. All switching contacts are SIL2c3 compliant. The relays can be used in operating current and static current operation. They can be triggered by alarms and special signals. The „degradation scheme“ can be used to select how to proceed in case of the failure of a measurement and how to treat it. It can be treated conventionally as an error or else as an alarm. There is also the possibility to combine alarms and special signals in a selectable alarm to provide more safety. For ideal adaptation to the triggering alarm devices the activation delay can be set to a value between 0 seconds and 100 minutes and the deactivation delay between 0 seconds and 100 minutes. The relays can be locked individually or in groups, manually or via special signal from the transmitter.
