Head piece for use with the powered air purifying respirators of the Dräger X-plore 8000 and Dräger X-plore 7000 series. The Helmet with visor is designed for areas where additional head protection and helmet liability is required. The specially developed air channel leads the air directly into the breathing area, preventing unpleasant drafts of air over the head and keeping the visor clear from fogging. The Helmet with visor features a durable, resistant polycarbonate visor which can be raised up, and is suitable for people wearing beards and/or glasses. The helmet with visor itself is approved according to EN 397:1995 (head protection) and EN 166:2002-04 1 B 9 3 (eye protection). In combination with powered air purifying respirators approved according to EN 12941:2009, protection level TH2.
