The REGARD 7000 Digital Input Module serves for monitoring digital or rapidly changing current signals. It has 8 input slots with each 1 threshold value. The threshold value can be monitored with a rising or falling slope. A wire break detection is activated but can be switched off. A short circuit detection offers additional safety. Each input can be used for the supply of active switching elements. Latching active switching elements can be disconnected from the power supply during acknowledgement to intialize them. The configuration and setting of parameters take place via the REGARD 7000 Dashboard. - Number of input channels: max. 8 - Operating voltage: 24 V (18 to 30 V) via Docking Station - Channel output voltage: typically 24 V, depending on the supply voltage of the Docking Station. - Overall supply current: max. 2 A - Static current through EOL resistor: Configurable to 0 mA (wire break detection disabled) and in the range from 5 to 400 mA. - Switching threshold configurable in the range: Rising: 3 to 400 mA Falling: -3 to -400 mA - Power input: max. 2,1 A - Power loss: max. 5 W at 24 V - Monitoring functions: wire break detection (0,5 x static current), short circuit detection (loop current > 450 mA), total current monitoring (total of all loop currents of all channels > 2000 mA) - Temperature (during operation): 0 ... 50 °C - Temperature (in storage): –20 ... +60 °C - Humidity (during operation): 20 ... 90 % r.h., non condensing - Humidity (in storage): 5 ... 90 % r.h., non condensing - Complies with the requirements of the electromagnetic compliance according to EN 50270:2015 (type 2) - Size and weight [H x B x T] [110 x 46 x 130] [mm] [265] [g]
