Rescue apparatus for respiratory protection, independent from ambient air, designed for use in environments where the person is in danger of toxication or there is less oxygen. The self rescue apparatus works with chemical based oxygen and has an operation time of 30 minutes. Units held in stock are free of maintenance and service for ten years. Through colour of the service indicator the readiness of the apparatus can be seen easily. A quick starter cartridge provides an instant oxygen supply for the operator.
