The training device consists of the casing of the training device and a simulated functional part. Unlike oxygen self-rescuers (emergency kit), the training device does not contain chemically-bound oxygen. The casing of the training device is of the same size and weight as the oxygen self-rescuer (emergency kit). The training device is used to practice opening, donning, and breathing. The breathing bag of the training device does not fill with oxygen, instead, the person breathes via the easy-to-clean half mask with resistance to simulate the breathing resistance.
