The REGARD 7000 4-20 mA Input Module serves as power supply and for evaluating any connected 4-20 mA transmitters. End of the measuring range, step, target gas name and measurement unit are freely configurable. Per input or measuring channel there are 8 freely configurable alarm thresholds, 8 freely configurable analogue special signals, and 8 freely configurable fault signals available. Specific messages like e.g. „beam block warning“ or „beam block“ from optic transmitters are available additionally. In order to avoid incorrect alarms due to signal faults on the measuring line an alarm delay time is available which can be set between 0 and 5 seconds. The evaluation of special and fault signals is carried out in a way that these values can be distinguished from signal faults on the measuring line. The configuration and setting of parameters take place via the REGARD 7000 Dashboard and is supported by assistance systems and copy functions. - Number of input channels: max. 8 - Operating voltage: 24 V (18 to 30 V) via Docking Station - Transmitter supply voltage: typically 24 V, depending on the supply voltage of the Docking Station. - Overall Transmitter supply current: max. 2 A. - Signal input current range: 0 to 24 mA (short-circuit detection at 38 mA) - Input resistance: 262 Ohm - Measurement accuracy: ± 0.05 mA ±0.002 mA/K [0 ... 4 mA] ± 1.25 % ± 0.05 %/K [4 ... 24 mA] - Power input: max. 2.1 A - Power loss: max. 5 W at 24 V - Monitoring functions: wire break detection, fault detection, short circuit detection, total current monitoring - Temperature (during operation): 0 ... 50 °C - Temperature (in storage): -20 ... +60 °C - Humidity (during operation): 20 ... 90 % r.h., non condensing - Humidity (in storage): 5 ... 90 % r.h., non condensing - Complies with the requirements of the electromagnetic compliance according to EN 50270:2015 (type 2) - Size and weight [H x W x D] [110 x 46 x 130] [mm] [265] [g]
